2020 SUMMER BACKYARD CAMPS

Due to the Covid-19 crisis, unfortunately Jhoops will not be able to offer full day camp services this summer. Alternatively, we have developed a program called Backyard Camps. Create your own backyard team and two of our coaches will come to your backyard to run fun and challenging activities.

How does it work:

• Each session gets 2 coaches.
• Coaches and kids will need to sanitize their hands before and after each session.
• Jhoops will provide necessary equipment as well as hand sanitizers. All equipment will be sanitized before and after each session.
• Entry into the house will be limited for bathroom use only.
• Backyards must be big enough so that participants can keep social distancing guidelines as per the direction of the Quebec government.
• It is recommended for family hosts to have a basketball net if possible.
• Backyards must have a shaded area where kids can cool off from the sun.
• Please inform us if your backyard has a swimming pool.

Where:

• All activities will take place in your backyard and/or driveway
• Hampstead
• Cote Saint-Luc 
• If your city is not listed please contact us for availability

Who:

• Create your own backyard team
• Boys ages 6-13
• Girls ages 6-13
• Minimum 6 kids and up to 8 kids per backyard

When:

• Starting June 15th - Monday to Friday
• We are offering 2 sessions per day
• Morning session 10:00am-12:00pm (SUGGESTED HOURS BUT FLEXIBLE)
• Afternoon session 2:30pm-4:30pm (SUGGESTED HOURS BUT FLEXIBLE)

What to bring: 

• Hat
• Sunscreen
• Sanitizer
• Refillable Water Bottle
• Snacks (NUT FREE)
• Basketball (optional)

Price:

• $20 per kid per session
• Minimum 6 kids and maximum 8 kids
• If your team is less than 6 kids, the price will be a flat rate of $120/session divided among the # of kids registered
• Hosts will need to complete reservation form (below) and then we will provide a private registration link for you and your teammates.

Cancellation Policy: (For players and backyards)

• In order to receive a full refund, cancellations must be made at least 48 hours before the start of the session
• If a player decides to cancel their registration they must do so at least 48 hours before the start of the session or they will forfeit their payment for that session
• If a backyard decides to cancel their reservation, it must be done at least 48 hours before the start of the session or be subject to a $120 administration fee
• If a player cancels and brings the group to less than 6 kids then the group will need to cover the balance
• In case of rain, sessions will be rescheduled or refunded
